Nanjing Engineering Vocational College of Jiangsu Province is a provincial ordinary school, which is affiliated to the Education Department of Jiangsu Province. Nanjing Engineering Vocational College of Jiangsu Province, founded in 1956, was originally named East China Geological Workers School. In 2002, it was placed under the management of Jiangsu Provincial Education Department and upgraded to a higher vocational school the following year. The school is located in Kirin Science and Technology Innovation Park, with Zhongshan Scenic Area in the west and Xianlin University Town in the east, covering an area of 350 mu and a building area of 162000 square meters.
The school has teaching departments such as Geological Engineering Department, Architectural Engineering Department, Electronic Engineering Department, Information Engineering Department and Business Administration Department, covering five major professional groups, including 16 five-year higher vocational specialty and 12 secondary vocational specialty.
