What is compulsory education?
Compulsory education is an educational system implemented in China.

Article 18 of the Education Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that the state implements nine-year compulsory education. Governments at all levels have legal responsibilities and must take various measures to ensure that school-age children and adolescents enter school; Parents or other guardians, as well as relevant social organizations and individuals, also have the legal responsibility to urge school-age children and adolescents to receive compulsory education for a specified number of years. Therefore, compulsory education is not only the obligation of the state to the people, but also the obligation of parents to the state and society. Compulsory education is equal and compulsory. The Compulsory Education Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that all children who have reached the age of six, regardless of gender, nationality or race, should attend school and receive compulsory education for a specified number of years.
