Jiuhua Heping Primary School is a public school with high starting point, high standards and distinctive features, which was jointly founded by Xiangtan Economic and Technological Development Zone and Heping Primary School, a primary school directly under Xiangtan Education Bureau.

The school is public compulsory education, managed by Xiangtan Economic Development Zone, donated by China Minmetals and undertaken by Xiangtan Heping Primary School. The project site is located in Wanjing Waterfront Community, north of Xuefu Road, Economic Development Zone, covering an area of 50 mu and a construction area of about 32,000 square meters. There are 36 classes in the school, which can accommodate 1620 students.

Jiuhua Heping Primary School is one of the best key primary schools in Xiangtan, with a total area of 50 mu and a building area of 32,000 square meters. It can provide about 400 students every year. Heping Primary School is wholly owned by Minmetals, and Minmetals Wanjing Waterfront Project enjoys priority admission qualification.
