How are foreign universities recognized by the Ministry of Education of China?
1. Foreign universities are recognized by the Ministry of Education of China, not by schools, but directly by the education department, so there is no need for any documents, and there is no problem of how to apply;

2. There are usually two preconditions for foreign universities to be recognized by the Ministry of Education of China: first, there is a mutual recognition agreement between the country where the school is located and the government of China (Ministry of Education);

3. Second, foreign universities are regular universities (academic education institutions) recognized by the host government, that is, foreign universities belong to academic education schools recognized by their own governments;

The Ministry of Education regularly publishes the list of foreign universities recognized by the state every year.

5. The recognition of foreign degrees is to implement the national policy of "supporting studying abroad, encouraging returning home and coming and going freely", and to meet the needs of overseas students and other overseas and foreign degree winners for further study, employment and application for scientific research funds in China, and to recognize foreign degrees for returned students;

6. By issuing certificates, it shows that students' overseas academic qualifications and learning methods are recognized by the Ministry of Education. Including the way of study, school, time of study, etc., obtaining academic degree certificate is the recognition of the above-mentioned study items.
