First, tap teaching resources and implement classroom teaching.

There are many contents in art textbooks that are difficult to adapt to the reality of rural primary school teaching. On the one hand, it is difficult for schools to find the necessary teaching equipment in textbooks and prepare the necessary learning tools for students. Secondly, many textbooks lack the necessary knowledge and understanding for students who were born and raised in rural areas and have never seen the outside world. In view of these phenomena, some art teachers have to ask students to draw the same "portrait" repeatedly in art class, some teachers simply ask students to draw whatever they want in art class, and some teachers draw or paste a picture on the blackboard to let students "draw a gourd ladle" in the whole class ... which student wants to go to such a boring art class? So they drew a picture casually and handed it in hastily. In fact, teachers can fully tap and make use of the unique educational resources in rural areas, implement classroom teaching flexibly and variously, and give students a wonderful classroom. For example:

(1) Students are required to prepare some pebbles before class, bring pebbles to class and teach students "artistic processing".

(2) Lead students to the field and teach them to mix mud and make clay sculptures of small animals.

These colorful teaching contents greatly promote students' interest in learning, bring vitality to the boring classroom and greatly stimulate students' creative inspiration.

In the usual teaching, teachers subconsciously think that students are still young and know little, so they impose their wishes on students with wishful thinking, which stifles students' autonomy and innovative consciousness and also dampens their enthusiasm for learning. Therefore, teachers should pay attention to encouraging teaching methods in teaching, stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning, examine every work of students with appreciation, and pay attention to cultivating students' interest in learning and participation consciousness.

(A) to encourage self-experience

In the art production class, teachers don't need to make uniform regulations on what forms and steps to use, but let students repeatedly contact and ponder materials, and ask students to create from different angles, so that students can discover and understand for themselves: originally, tool materials have such performance characteristics; Steps can not only be like this, but also like that; Not only this method can be adopted, but also that method can be adopted. In addition, when drawing multiple works or one work, the teacher doesn't need to tell the students where to draw first. Where is the back painting? Or which part to draw first, and then which part to draw. Let the students analyze and think for themselves, and then start painting ... This not only stimulates the students' desire for exploration, but also cultivates their innovative spirit.

(B) to encourage aesthetic personality

In teaching, teachers should not set a unified evaluation standard for an aesthetic material in advance, but should give full play to students' aesthetic feelings, encourage students to feel the beauty of artistic works in their own unique ways, and make students' emotions resonate with the object, so that aesthetic imagination will naturally develop freely. For example, when appreciating Xu Beihong's Horse, the teacher asked the students to look at the painting and feel the atmosphere of the work by themselves, and asked the students to think about the following questions while looking at the painting: What is a painting? How to draw? What are the characteristics of using a pen? Which place impressed you the most? Then encourage every student to express their opinions, and everyone can basically express their opinions and ideas when they answer.

In classroom teaching, encouraging teaching method is adopted, and the classroom atmosphere is active; Students are equal, so that teachers and students can get along well; Students can easily accept knowledge in an active atmosphere, boldly use their imagination and quickly create excellent works.

Third, give students room for practice.

In order to strengthen students' interest in learning art, teachers can try to provide students with more places to use: let students take turns to give blackboard newspapers, draw headlines and design patterns to the class every month, and students are very busy; Organize students to decorate "a corner of art" and dress up the classroom in each period; Every painting competition is held, and the winning works are judged and posted for students to enjoy ... Through these activities, students' art skills are improved and their interest in learning art is consolidated.

As the saying goes, "Interest is the best teacher." Once students have developed and maintained a strong interest in art, they will devote more energy and enthusiasm to their studies. In this way, it is not difficult to achieve the teaching objectives given by the standards.
