In China, children (especially only children) are regarded as little emperors and little princesses. Parents only know how to meet their children's needs, but never think about how to make their children learn to be independent. In China, parents always treat their children as ignorant children before they get married. If children have their own ideas and want to go out to start a business, parents will often stop them from "growing up, their wings are hard, and they don't need us anymore …". They are used to arranging the future for their children and letting them act according to the arranged plan. "Which university should you go to, what major to study, where to study or work after graduation ..." These children must listen to their parents. In many western countries, children leave home when they are 18 years old or even younger and learn to live independently. They don't like asking their parents for money, but earn it themselves. Comparing these two different ways of family education, children in China are much happier than those in the west. They have been living under the wings of their parents and lack the opportunity to exercise themselves. Therefore, to a certain extent, children in China are far less able to live independently and overcome difficulties than those in the West. This is the result of different educational methods.
