Summary of junior high school chemistry teaching observation activities (1)
The selection of the X young chemistry teacher (junior middle school group) in Shandong Province, organized by Shandong Teaching and Research Section, was held in Qingdao No.26 Middle School from xx to xxXX. More than 150 chemistry teachers from all over the province, as well as chemistry teachers and researchers from various cities, attended the meeting. Chen Jianzhong, the first middle school in Dongying District, Li Yan, the third middle school in Dongying District, Liu Lizhi, the experimental school in Dongying City, Lu Lixin, the central junior high school in Shikou Town, Wang Guojun, the central junior high school in Longju Town, and Li Jing, the third middle school in Dongying District participated in the study. Among them, Li Jing gave a lecture on behalf of Dongying City.
I. Overview of the meeting:
This activity is divided into two parts, one is to attend classes; The second is that the provincial chemistry teachers and researchers explain the principles and methods of attending classes and evaluating classes. There are 20 classes in total, and the teaching place is arranged in Qingdao No.26 Middle School. Seven classes are arranged every day, four in the morning and three in the afternoon. The teacher who participated in this time talked about the properties of acid and alkali in the third quarter of Unit 5 of ninth grade chemistry and the calculation in the fourth quarter of chemical reaction. Finally, arrange teacher Lu Wei of the provincial teaching and research section to evaluate the class.
Second, the content of the meeting
After listening to 20 classes in three days, each class has its own merits, but all the teachers have a relatively accurate grasp of the new ideas of the new curriculum and are of high quality. This is reflected in the teacher's sweet voice, refined and accurate language, inspiring, paying attention to method guidance, adopting various means, especially multimedia application, giving full play to its important role and paying attention to inquiry learning. For example, when talking about the nature of acid and alkali, and which substances hydrochloric acid can react with, most of them first project magnesium rods, rusty nails, calcium carbonate and copper chloride solutions according to textbooks, and then let students guess and prove the design scheme. Write equations to guide students to explore that the gas produced by the reaction between metal and acid is hydrogen. When talking about the fourth section "Calculation in Chemical Reaction", we first find out that the basis of equation calculation is that the mass ratio between substances is constant, and then discuss the steps and standard format of equation calculation. Paying attention to innovation is mainly reflected in the following aspects: First, the innovation of teaching methods. For example, when Xu Lijing, a teacher from Boxing Lean Experimental School, explained the dilution and heat release of concentrated sulfuric acid in the third quarter of Unit 5 of ninth grade chemistry, she stuck a small piece of wood on the bottom of the beaker in advance with a candle, so that students could feel it when the small piece fell off. The second is the innovation of teaching design. For example, Li Jing, a teacher from Dongying No.3 Middle School, broke the arrangement of the textbook when she explained the third section of Unit 5 of ninth grade chemistry, and talked about the chemical properties of acid first, then the physical properties, which achieved good results. Pay attention to the deep excavation of knowledge. For example, when Mr. Jing Li said that the essence of acid is the essence of hydrogen ions, he used purple litmus to test the liquid and achieved good results. Pay attention to the connection with real life. For example, when Mr. Lu Jing from Li Shen Middle School in zouping county talked about "Calculation in Chemical Reaction" in the fourth quarter, he compared Zou Ping's use of gasoline and water as automobile fuel in Qingdao, which not only solved the problem but also improved students' interest in learning, and also aroused the resonance of the whole class.
Teacher Lu Wei's principle of class evaluation:
1, each class should have a clear goal and show great wisdom, not small cleverness. To reflect? Learning? We should attach importance to students' learning state and learning effect.
2. See if the strategies adopted to achieve the teaching objectives are appropriate. Teachers should have a sense of reform and attach importance to students' cooperative inquiry.
3. See whether the teaching activities are well organized and how effective they are. Teaching activities should be multifaceted, but it is not that there are too many activities or the class capacity is large, it depends on the effect of the activities.
4. Comprehensive evaluation mainly depends on the achievement of teaching objectives. The determination of goals should be generous and conducive to the development of students. Achieving some of these goals is also a good lesson.
Third, learning gains.
Through learning, I feel that teaching is an art, and it is endless. Teachers need to have the following qualities:
1, keep pace with the times and surpass yourself.
In today's information age, every educator should keep pace with the times, master computer technology and multimedia skillfully, and make our teaching colorful.
2. Dare to let go and explore.
Improving the efficiency of classroom teaching does not lie in the teacher's in-depth explanation, nor in the teacher's careful guidance of students' exercises. The key lies in the study of teaching materials. In the process of organizing teaching, we must take students as the main body and truly treat students as? People? Give students the right and time to study.
3. Care for students and improve affinity.
Teachers should have a sense of happiness and responsibility for their profession. Teachers should regard students as living and growing people and are willing to help them grow up healthily. Only in this way can they communicate with their hearts and achieve their own careers.
4. Strengthen self-study and do a good job in teaching reflection.
As a chemistry teacher, we should keep abreast of new scientific and technological knowledge, grasp the frontier trends of contemporary education, constantly increase our own accumulation, link chemical knowledge with real life, do more experiments and strive to improve basic skills. In teaching, we should learn to reflect and be good at it. Carry out reflection in class discussion, dialogue and exchange, and do a good job of reflection by writing educational logs, educational stories and teaching essays. Reflection can help every teacher to mature faster in teaching.
IV. Work Plan
Although this observation activity was short-lived, it deeply touched my heart and prompted me to reposition my previous teaching and deeply reflect on my previous teaching. In the future, I should do the following work:
(1) Improve their own quality and professional level from the aspects of language expression, courseware making and affinity with students.
⑵ Carefully design each lesson with great wisdom from a long-term perspective and from the perspective of students' development.
⑶ Each class should have clear goals and feasible corresponding strategies.
(4) We should design questions with thinking value and in line with students' actual level, so that students' thinking can move forward according to the teacher's predetermined track.
5. Let students explore freely in teaching methods, and don't be afraid to waste time. Only in this way can our students have innovative ability and cultivate cooperative ability.
[6] to firmly establish? Apply what you have learned? The concept of chemistry is closely related to daily life.
Summary of junior middle school chemistry teaching observation activities (2)
Another great achievement of this observation activity is that I have re-recognized the importance of building a knowledge system and forming a conceptual system for truly learning science. For example, when Mr. Miao Xu is reviewing solubility, all his contents are around? Solubility curve? Understand the concept of solid solubility through curve, let students think about why to establish the concept of solid solubility, make students' thinking knowledge change from qualitative to quantitative, and their thinking level will go to a new level. He checked the solubility curve? Comparison of solubility: transformation of saturated solution and unsaturated solution, precipitation of solid, calculation and comparison of solute mass fraction? The whole content is very systematic, concise and clear. Reflecting on my normal teaching process, I often catch up with the progress blindly, and there is basically no unit review class. Even if there is, my review is purely for practice, and the content is scattered, so it is difficult to help students form a real knowledge system. It has little effect on improving students' scientific thinking ability, so students' learning effect is poor, and even their mastery of scientific learning methods in high school will be affected.
In short, the study in Changsha was really hard, but it benefited a lot; Today's observation experience is very bumpy, but I have taken the first step of reflection. In the future, I will try to seize the opportunity of learning and hone myself. There is no end to learning. Let's live forever!
