The main responsibilities of the Institute of Curriculum Textbooks of the Ministry of Education
Organize research on major theoretical and practical issues in the construction of curriculum materials, provide consulting services for the decision-making of national curriculum materials construction, participate in the formulation of national curriculum plans and curriculum standards (basic teaching requirements), participate in the compilation and review of national unified textbooks, and participate in the training, monitoring and evaluation of national curriculum implementation and textbook use.
Provide consultation and services for the construction of local and school curriculum materials, carry out international exchanges and project cooperation in curriculum materials research, undertake the work of the secretariats of expert committees under the State Textbook Committee, and carry out other work entrusted by the Ministry of Education and relevant departments.
