According to everyone's library, "Lucas model" was put forward by British environmental education expert Arthur Lucas in 1972. The disadvantage of this educational model is that it overemphasizes the emotional cultivation of students in outdoor activities and ignores the teaching of basic knowledge to students.
Lucas model divides environmental education in Britain into three basic components, namely, education about environment, education for environment and education in environment. Environmental education in Britain adopts the way of mutual penetration of various disciplines for education and learning. However, if the related disciplines of ecological environment are not coordinated, environmental education will be dismembered, resulting in the lack of coherence in environmental education content, repeated knowledge transmission and partial knowledge loss.
