2) Reading this book made me very educated.

The mistake in the original sentence is that the subject "yes" means initiative, so the subject should be "I read this book" before "yes".

But the word "I read this book" is a complete sentence, and the subject (I) predicate (reading) object (book) is complete, so it can't be the subject of the whole sentence. Therefore, the revision should be aimed at the "I" who made me.
