In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the conference on discipline rectification in the war zone held by the education system on August 14, 2004, fully implement Scientific Outlook on Development and the correct outlook on political achievements, effectively solve the outstanding problems in the style of school leaders and teaching staff, further strengthen the construction of teachers' style, and promote the steady development of education in our school, the school committee decided to hold an ideological style discipline rectification activity in the whole school from August 20 to 25, 2006, and formulated as follows.

I. Guiding ideology

Under the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development, we will try our best to eliminate all kinds of ideological style and discipline problems that affect development, constantly improve the ideological quality and working ability of teachers and staff in our school, so that the majority of teachers and staff can further understand the form, clarify the goal, change their style and enhance their enthusiasm, actively participate in the work of the new school year with a new look and image, strive to create a new situation in education, and promote the healthy and harmonious development of education in our school.

Second, outstanding problems to be solved

The ideological style and discipline rectification, mainly aimed at the present situation of the construction of teachers, highlighted six problems:

First, the sense of responsibility is not strong, and the overall situation is not strong. Some faculty members think and do things not from the overall situation, not from the attitude of being responsible for education and schools, but from the personal departmental interests, resulting in "role dislocation." I don't understand the relevant policies and regulations of superiors and schools, and even have resistance, making random comments in front of teachers and students, spreading gossip and other dishonest and unprincipled phenomena.

Second, the awareness of learning is weakened and the ambition is not strong. The learning atmosphere is not strong, and the thirst for knowledge is not strong, which meets the general work needs. Young comrades sincerely learn from old teachers and experienced teachers; Old teachers, on the grounds of rich experience, are content with the status quo and don't ask for it; Some comrades are unwilling to study on the pretext that they are busy with work and have many things to do; Some comrades do not cherish the learning opportunities provided by the school, and are late, absent and perfunctory. Due to lack of study, I am not clear about the new policies and regulations, the new situation and new requirements of education, teaching and logistics services, the activities of the school, the work is not pragmatic, and I am not good at accumulating and summing up experience. Some of them have been engaged in education and logistics services for many years, but they still have limited knowledge, poor professional knowledge and little professional experience.

Third, the work initiative is poor and the sense of innovation is not strong. The enterprise is not strong, and there is no courage to think big things, do big things, and strive for first-class; Work is only located in the simple division of labor between schools and departments, while some temporary work or other work assigned by leaders is always prevaricated by reasons such as lack of time, busy work and difficulties; There are not many ways to solve new problems under the new situation, and the ideas are not wide; Being content with the status quo, not striving for progress, afraid of hardship and tiredness, not having the confidence and determination to face difficulties, seize opportunities and forge ahead with heavy burdens, they often wait and see, miss opportunities and respond passively; The consciousness of innovation is not strong, the ability of innovation is insufficient, the ideas are not wide, there are not many methods, and you can't work creatively.

Fourth, negative thinking and low work efficiency. Work is not solid, pragmatic, and a mere formality; Some faculty members can't come up with opinions and results on the things assigned by the leaders for a long time. The problem of working ability, but mainly the problem of working attitude, muddling along, being passive, procrastinating, shirking responsibility and perfunctory.

Fifth, there is a lack of self-sacrifice spirit and a weak service concept. Lack of enthusiasm in work and weak sense of service. Not convincing, not caring, indifferent to students, rude tone, affecting the healthy development of students' body and mind. Yes, faculty members are not good at communicating with parents, and their enthusiasm for receiving parents is not high, so they can't calmly establish a United front with parents to educate students; Some teachers are not enthusiastic, active, serious, lack of self-sacrifice, and even shirk their tasks and responsibilities. We just want to do a good job of "after service" and don't take the initiative to "before service". You can't think about the problems that will occur in the front, prevent them in the front, and do them in the front. Our work is often passive.

Sixth, the sense of discipline is weak and the work is irresponsible. Late arrival, leaving early, getting off work late, gossiping at work, playing online, etc. occur from time to time; Some teachers don't know the rules and discipline, they are impetuous in their work, procrastinating, inaction, chaos, inaction and chaos. Lack of energy, inattention, lack of passion in work and lack of innovation in thinking. Stick to the rules, stick to the rules, do not strive for progress, and be content with the status quo.
