In my humble opinion, I think it is better to learn English in Guangzhou. Traditional universities include Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, South China Normal University and School of Foreign Languages of Sun Yat-sen University, all of which have professional English training, but the training for advanced students is slightly lower than that for undergraduates because it is extra.
As far as I know, there is an English training institution in Guangzhou that subverts traditional education and breaks through the bottleneck of deaf-mute English. It is called Guangzhou Oriental English College, which has a good reputation and brand in adult oral English training. It has been running for 16 years, and has trained tens of thousands of successful people and overseas students. It is a low-key and high-quality closed school, which is worth enrolling. They used to run a branch school in Shenzhen Xili Lake Resort, and then they were evacuated to Guangzhou in the year of SARS. Now headquartered in Guangzhou Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area.
