Shanghai and Beijing account for nearly half of the top 100 list, with 26 schools and 2 1 schools respectively. Guangzhou ranked third with 1 1; Shenzhen ranks fourth, with 8 on the list; Suzhou ranks fifth, with five on the list. Schools include Bao Yugang Experimental School, Shanghai International Department and Shanghai American School.

Beijing Jingxi School is an international school established to meet the educational needs of more and more children of foreigners working in Beijing, which provides a good environment for the international community to accept China culture. This school was founded in 1994 with a history of 24 years.

At present, the school has about 1500 students from 57 countries and about 190 foreign teachers. During the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Jingxi School was rated as one of the "Beijing 2008 Olympic Model Schools" by Beijing Municipality, Ministry of Education and BOCOG.

Beijing Jingxi School has always attached great importance to teaching infrastructure including computers and networks. There are more than 400 teaching computers, and the ratio with the number of students is 1: 2.5.
