The responsibilities of this unit are:

1. Implement the educational policies and regulations of the Party and the state, study, formulate and organize the implementation of the city's educational development plan.

2, comprehensive management of the city's general education, vocational education, adult education and early childhood education, responsible for education supervision and evaluation.

3, to guide the education and teaching work of all kinds of schools at all levels in the city, organize and lead the city's educational and scientific research activities, check and supervise the implementation of primary and secondary school curriculum plans, and promote the implementation of quality education.

4, the management of the city's teachers, including the allocation of teachers, assessment and appointment, training, job title evaluation, labor and welfare work.

5, responsible for the city's education budget and final accounts and basic units of financial management, audit supervision, medical management at public expense; Responsible for the city's education and teaching facilities construction, educational technology and equipment and management; Responsible for leading and organizing the school-run industrial work.

6, responsible for organizing and guiding the city's schools at all levels of the entrance examination, do a good job of graduate students, college graduates' student status management and employment guidance.

7. Complete other tasks assigned by the municipal party committee, municipal government and higher authorities.

Article 3 of the Supervision Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that supervisory committees at all levels are specialized organs that exercise state supervisory functions. In accordance with this law, supervise all public officials (hereinafter referred to as public officials), investigate job-related violations and job-related crimes, carry out clean government building and anti-corruption work, and safeguard the dignity of the Constitution and laws.
