Generally speaking, since the founding of New China, the total number of undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in China has been 1930 17900, that is,1930,000. Since 1977 announced the resumption of the college entrance examination, and 1978 was officially implemented, the total number of students and graduate students in this college was 1894 16500. The enrollment of our college and graduate students is mainly divided into three levels, namely, the number of graduate students, the number of ordinary universities, the number of adult universities and the number of online universities.
Let's look at the number of graduates: since the founding of New China, the total number of college graduates nationwide has been154543444,400, while since the resumption of the college entrance examination in151741500,000. Please look at the picture below
That is to say, if we estimate conservatively, there are about 65438+52 million people who have received higher education in China, including undergraduate and junior college, adult education and online education. Since the resumption of the college entrance examination, the total number of graduates with only ordinary undergraduate degrees has reached 40,805,438+0.5 million.
From the above data, we can also find that our graduation rate is actually not ideal. Since the resumption of the college entrance examination, the graduation rate of ordinary undergraduate colleges has been 80.38%. Therefore, there has always been the idea that "as long as you are admitted to a university, you will be able to graduate smoothly", which is undoubtedly wrong. Not everyone can graduate from college smoothly, whether it is a junior college or an undergraduate course.
Let's take a look at the past 20 years.
It is worth noting that the increase in the number of China university graduates is actually in the past 20 years. After all, it used to be an era when thousands of troops crossed the wooden bridge. Because of the lack of educational resources, the competition is fierce. During the period from 1999 to 20 18, the total number of college graduates alone reached 89.9969 million, accounting for 89.7% of the total number of college graduates since the resumption of the college entrance examination. And adult education and online education, most of them are also produced at this stage. (The picture below shows the growth of the number of ordinary undergraduates)
Moreover, more and more situations are very obvious. You can look at the picture below.
The above picture shows the year-on-year growth rate of college graduates. You can find that the number of college graduates in China is increasing year by year. In 20 18 years alone, the number of college graduates reached 7.533 million.
If conservatively estimated, according to the 6.5438+0.52 million people who have received various kinds of higher education, combined with the population, the proportion of people who have received higher education in China has reached 654.38+00.93%. However, if the number of graduates who transfer from ordinary colleges and universities to undergraduate courses is at least 7 million each year, the increasing rate will gradually exceed 2%. By 2030, the number of people who have only received ordinary higher education will reach more than 20%, and the proportion of people who have received higher education will exceed 25% of the total population.
