China Vocational Education Association is a mass organization with "united front, education and folk character" led by China. It is mainly composed of people who are engaged in, care about and support vocational education in education, economic and scientific circles. It is a bridge and link between the party and the government and relevant people in vocational education and private education.

China Vocational Education Association was founded on May 6th, 2007 by 48 educators and industrialists including Huang Yanpei, Cai Yuanpei, Liang Qichao, Zhang Jian and Song.

By the end of 20 17, China Vocational Education Association had 3/kloc-0 provincial organizations, 624 city (district), county and township cooperatives, with nearly 4,000 group members and more than 40,000 individual members.

The highest leading organ of this institution is the National Congress, and when the National Congress is not in session, it is the Council it produces. The National Congress is held every five years, and it can be held in advance or postponed if necessary. During the National Congress, the presidium elected by the meeting shall preside over the meeting.

The functions and powers of the National Congress are: (1) to consider and approve the work report of the Council; (two) to discuss and decide on major issues of this institution; (3) Amending the articles of association of this cooperative; (4) Electing directors; (5) Other functions and powers that should be exercised by the National Congress.
