1. In terms of discipline strength, Southeast University has 28 disciplines and Sun Yat-sen University has 48 disciplines. On the whole, the overall strength of Sun Yat-sen University is better than that of Southeast University.

2. Strong faculty. All the teachers in Sun Yat-sen University have bachelor degree or above, and 50 teachers have been awarded the title of "Excellent Educator", while only 20 teachers in Southeast University have been awarded the title of "Excellent Educator". In contrast, Sun Yat-sen University has a strong faculty and a better school.
