It is the same school. The college was originally named Chengdu Branch of Sichuan International Studies University (located in Tianhui Town in 2000), and later renamed Chengdu College of Sichuan International Studies University (200 1, jointly run with Sichuan Derui Education Group, and moved to the present location of Gaoxin West District).

(Sichuan Derui Education Group owns six institutions, namely Sichuan International Studies University, Chengdu Foreign Languages School, Chengdu Experimental Foreign Languages School, Chengdu Experimental Foreign Languages School (West Zone), primary school affiliated to Chengdu Foreign Languages School and kindergarten affiliated to Chengdu Foreign Languages School.
