Granting bachelor's degrees to adult graduates is an important part of China's degree work, a fundamental symbol of the gradual improvement of the three-level degree system and an important guarantee for improving the quality of adult higher education. According to the relevant regulations of the state, graduates applying for adult higher education must take foreign language examinations. In order to help candidates to be more familiar with the procedures of applying for adult bachelor's degree and the information about the examination, according to the spirit of the Interim Provisions of the State Council Academic Degrees Committee on Awarding Adult Higher Education Graduates' Bachelor's Degree and the Notice on Rectifying the Awarding of Adult Higher Education Graduates' Bachelor's Degree, we have compiled the Outline of Japanese Proficiency Examination for Adult Higher Education Bachelor's Degree (for Non-Japanese Majors). The compilation of this syllabus fully considers the characteristics of adult higher education and the different learning backgrounds of adult candidates. The syllabus requires testing the candidates' Japanese language knowledge and Japanese application ability, whether the candidates are proficient in Japanese basic grammar and common vocabulary, and whether they have strong reading ability and comprehensive language application ability, and puts forward specific requirements for the candidates' Japanese application ability.
