Article 14 School-age children and adolescents who receive compulsory education in places where they are not registered, with the approval of the county-level education department or the people's government at the township level where they are registered, may apply for borrowing in accordance with the relevant provisions of the people's government of their place of residence. The length of compulsory education for school-age children and adolescents who borrow from school shall be subject to the provisions of their domicile.
Fifteenth children and adolescents who have completed compulsory education for a specified number of years shall be issued a certificate of completion of compulsory education by the school. The format of compulsory education certificate shall be uniformly formulated by the Provincial Department of Education. The graduation certificate or graduation certificate obtained after completing compulsory education for a specified number of years in the local area can be regarded as the certificate for completing compulsory education.
Sixteenth school-age children and adolescents who have reached the graduation level of primary education or junior high school education corresponding to compulsory education for a specified number of years ahead of schedule due to their excellent academic performance are deemed to have completed compulsory education.
