Regarding the research and development of curriculum, I want to clarify these questions first: What is the philosophical basis of curriculum research and development? What is the theoretical basis of the course? Can teachers' philosophical thinking and theoretical level meet the requirements of independent research and development courses? Is the way and method of research and development right? Is the content of R&D scientific, hierarchical and logical? Does the teacher really understand the child's growth process? If these are not, I think the so-called curriculum development is just empty talk! Maybe sometimes, for children, it is another kind of injury.

Professor Lin once said: the research and development of curriculum must first have a certain philosophical view. Because a person has a philosophical view, he can form a certain educational theory on this basis; Only when the educational theory is formed can the educational outline be formulated (that is, the basic framework of education or what is the purpose and goal of education); Only with the educational syllabus can there be specific actions in the "educational guide" (the guide is a code of conduct to guide teachers to do specifically); Only with the guide can there be a course (the course is to solve the problem of what we should teach our children). Only with a certain curriculum system can there be a corresponding activity design. The specific activity design is to solve the problem of "when to teach and how to teach".

Looking at great educators at all times and all over the world, if we study their courses, we will find that they all have their own philosophical and theoretical systems. Whether it's learning from other people's philosophical thoughts or your own development and creation! Their courses must be inseparable from these two basic elements.

Take the two most popular educational theories at home and abroad (Montessori and Waldorf) as examples:

Montessori's educational theory is "the education of life". So how did her educational theory come from? "In order to learn more about human life, she began to understand the views held by various academic authorities such as medicine, psychology, physics and philosophy. The names of these people are as follows-Liu Yitong, Segan, Freud, Gaisai, Corkhill, Saudi Arabia, Lamborghini, Darwin, Woolf, Defoe, Lyle, Larere and so on. -Theoretical overview of Montessori education. Then, through my own actual observation of children, I found that the growth of children should follow the inner strength of children, and then formed my own educational theory.

Waldorf's educational theory is based on anthropology, and anthropology itself is a philosophical thought. Waldorf education regards man as a complete individual with "body, mind and spirit" and regards cultivating an individual with "body, mind and spirit in one" as a "complete person". Waldorf education is still based on the "people-oriented" educational thought. Steiner believes that people's education should not only understand people's appearance, but also start with the understanding and research of people themselves.

Therefore, if your curriculum is developed, the teacher can't tell his own philosophy, his own educational theory and his own educational outline. I can only say that your curriculum research and development is rootless and can't stand the test of time.

Philosophy and educational theory are what we usually call the "Tao" of education, and they are the core and foundation of education. If your course doesn't have these, it can only show that your course is rootless and untenable.

Educational plans, guides, courses and activities are all "skills" of education, which is what we usually call technology. Technology can be imitated, learned and ever-changing. But Tao can't. Tao is invisible. Tao can only be "enlightened" by itself, so there is a saying of "enlightened Tao".

The "Tao" of education, if you can understand its true meaning, you won't be confused by all kinds of teaching modes in modern society, then you can jump out of so many teaching modes, discard the false and keep the true, and find those teaching modes that are really suitable for children, and then you can really help children's growth effectively.

These are just my personal views and opinions, let's discuss them together!
