1June, 906, several houses in Xipailou were rented as school buildings, and Yali University Hall was opened.

1992, Changsha Yali Middle School was awarded the plaque of Hunan Provincial Key Middle School by Hunan Provincial Education Commission.
1In August, 1992, Hunan Provincial Education Commission approved Changsha Yali Middle School and other three key middle schools to set up science experimental classes.
1February, 1995, Changsha Organizing Committee confirmed Changsha Yali Middle School as a national county-level institution.
In 2002, Changsha Yali Boarding Middle School (later renamed Changsha Nanya Middle School) was established.
In 2009, North Asia Middle School was established.
20 10 Changsha Yali Yuhua Middle School, Deya Middle School and Yiya Middle School were founded.
20 12, yali experimental middle school was established.
20 13, Changya Middle School and Yali Tianxin Middle School were founded.
