The college has three undergraduate majors: pedagogy (direction of primary education), applied psychology and educational technology. Among them, educational technology major is a national major, and applied psychology major is a major in Zhejiang Province. At present, there are two master's degree authorization points for first-class disciplines, two master's degree authorization points for disciplines 13, five master's degree authorization points for discipline education, educational management, modern educational technology, mental health education and primary education, as well as full-time master's degree authorization points for Chinese, mathematics, science, physics, chemistry, biology, politics and history, and the master's degree authorization points for public administration (MPA) education management are also available.

The college has 1 national excellent courses, 3 provincial excellent courses and 4 bilingual courses. The laboratory of Modern Educational Technology Center is the experimental teaching demonstration center of colleges and universities in Zhejiang Province.

"Modern Educational Technology" is a national top-quality course (2004), and the achievement of "Creation and Application of Teacher Education Information Environment" won the second prize of National Higher Education Teaching Achievement (2005). The research and practice of cultivating teachers' educational technology ability has become one of the characteristics of running a school. 1. Comparative Higher Education: The main characteristics of this research direction are: First, actively introduce western higher education theories, enrich China's higher education theories, and provide a theoretical resource base for the construction of China's higher education discipline system. In addition to the translation series of higher education masterpieces and influential works, we will also start the screening, translation and publication of general education translation series. The second is to expand new research fields and expand the research scope of comparative higher education. In 2003, the first African education research institution in China, the African Education Research Center, was established, actively exploring the research resources of African higher education, and striving to make it the center of African higher education research and talent training in about five years. Thirdly, the research direction is not only to introduce foreign higher education thoughts and practices, but also to actively spread China's educational thoughts and practices abroad, thus playing a bridge role in communicating Chinese and foreign educational thoughts. Fourthly, in addition to theoretical exploration, the focus of this study is to cultivate talents who meet the needs of international education. The achievements in this direction directly show the academic vision and level of Zhejiang higher education research, and lay a solid theoretical foundation for the development of higher education and even education.

3. Higher education policy and management: The main characteristics of this research direction are: First, combining theoretical research with reform practice, closely linking with practical problems encountered in reform, advocating practical consciousness and problem complex of higher education research, paying attention to reality, deeply understanding the actual situation of policy formulation and implementation, studying major practical problems related to the development of higher education, establishing extensive contacts with the government, and becoming an ideological body and think tank for local government decision-making.
