China Higher Education English Composition
From the chart, we can see that higher education in China is developing rapidly. 1949 When New China was founded, there were only about one million college students, but in 2002, the number reached 4.5 million. Several factors have contributed to the development of higher education in China. First of all, the rapid development of China's economy, especially in the past 20 years of reform and opening up, has laid a good foundation. Second, the China government has been trying to encourage the development of higher education. One of the measures taken is to increase the university enrollment rate from 1999. Third, most people have begun to realize the importance of higher education.
