Reflections on Reading A Guide to Learning and Development for Children Aged 3-6
The following are my thoughts on reading the Guide to Learning and Development for Children Aged 3-6:

This book is a precious gift. This paper describes in detail the reasonable expectation of the learning development level of children aged 3-6 from the five fields of health, language, society, science and art, and gives clear goals and educational suggestions in each field.

After reading this book in detail, I really have a new understanding of preschool education and kindergarten education. As the saying goes, interlacing is like a mountain, and it is true. Before reading this book, I also read many books on parenting, such as raising boys, you are the best toy for children and so on.

Parents should pay more attention to communication with their children and do positive encouragement, and then parents should set a good example for their children. However, from the heart, I don't know enough about the importance of children going to kindergarten.

Looking back on my growing process, I didn't go to kindergarten when I was a child. I went to preschool for one year, then went directly to primary school, then to junior high school, senior high school, university, and then to enter the society and engage in my present career. The education mode of self-feeling-not going to kindergarten, not systematically receiving kindergarten education of body, intelligence, morality and beauty before going to primary school, seems to have no adverse effect on the subsequent growth and development.

In recent years, with the development of social productive forces and the acceleration of urbanization in China, more and more people have begun to enter urban life. This generation of children entering cities and towns began to receive kindergarten education in general. Therefore, receiving kindergarten education seems to be a rigid requirement of "going to school if you want". However, it is difficult to give an accurate judgment and reasonable expectation about what children should know, what they can do and what level they can develop at the age of 3-6.

In fact, the idea of "expecting children to succeed and daughters to succeed" is mostly buried in the heart of every China student's parents. Then, how can we make children develop morally, intellectually, physically and aesthetically in an all-round and harmonious way without "over-exploiting" and "pulling out seedlings to encourage them"? This is actually a problem for every parent. After reading this book, I found the most direct and effective way to deal with this "difficult problem".

In terms of children's health, we need to get rid of children's habit of eating barbecue in the night market, and then try to urge them to go to bed early to ensure adequate sleep. At the same time, control the time he watches TV, accompany him to do crafts, play with toys and draw pictures. Pay attention to his sitting posture and use tables and chairs of appropriate height.

In terms of children's language, we should actively communicate with him what we have seen and heard in kindergarten, and accompany him to read picture books and tell stories. Pay attention to listening when communicating with him, guide children to express their ideas in life situations and reading activities, and give positive responses.

In social communication, we should establish parent-child relationship, teacher-student relationship and peer relationship. We should often play games and do outdoor activities with him. Encourage children to contact and talk with others when visiting relatives, friends' homes or guests. Encourage children to participate in children's games, invite children to play at home, and let him feel the joy of playing with friends.

In science study, children can often be brought into contact with nature, such as taking them to tea gardens or taking them back to their hometown, so that they can get in touch with nature more and collect specimens to stimulate their curiosity. Let children perceive the usefulness and fun of mathematics in life. Guide children to perceive the size, quantity, height, thickness and other characteristics of things, and guide children to compare the number of objects by counting.

In terms of artistic enlightenment, take children to visit gardens, historical sites and other cultural landscapes, and discuss and exchange relevant historical stories and legends with them. Children are often exposed to suitable music works, and they are used to decorate and beautify the environment with pictures and handicrafts. If possible, take children to theaters, art galleries, museums and other places to enjoy literary performances and works of art.

We will actively apply the methods mentioned in the book to practice according to the actual situation of children, and care for children together with teachers, so that they can develop better in physical, intellectual, moral and aesthetic aspects.
