The Xialu District belongs to Huangshi City, Hubei Province.

Xialu District is one of the four urban areas of Huangshi City, located in the hinterland of Huangshi City Center. Xialu is the territory of Jingchu, the Qin and Han Dynasties belong to Nanjun, the Northern Wei Dynasty is the suburb of Xiling County, and the Tang Dynasty belongs to Wuchang, Ezhou. Dongxiang and Beixiang in Daye County during the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties were later called Yongfeng Township and Sihui Township.

During the Republic of China, it was SHEN WOO Township and Changle Township in Daye County. At the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was the township of Daye industrial and mining special zone, later renamed the second district of Huangshi City, and later called the suburb and landing area of Huangshi City.

Geographical environment:

The Xialu District is located in the regional center of Huangshi City, bordering huangshigang district and Xisaishan District in the east, Tieshan District in the west, daye city in the south and Ezhou City in the north.
