Hainan Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1984, formerly known as Sanya Farmers College Class, and was founded in 1978. In 2003, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to an undergraduate higher vocational and technical school under the Hainan Provincial People's Government. The college has professional settings in many fields, covering engineering, management, art design, information technology, tourism services, medical care and so on. Various professional and undergraduate courses are offered in these fields.
