Luoyang Normal University is a provincial normal undergraduate college, located in Luoyang, the starting point of the Millennium Imperial Capital, Peony City and the Silk Road. It is a civilized unit in Henan province, an advanced unit for the employment of college graduates in Henan province, and a pilot unit for the training of graduate students with master's degree in education.

Luoyang Teachers College, formerly Heluo Teachers College, was founded in 19 16. After the stages of Heluo Normal School in Henan Province, the Fourth Normal School in Henan Province, Luoyang Normal School in Henan Province, Luoyang Normal College and Luoyang Normal College, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college in 2000.

In 2007, the school passed the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education with excellent results, and was approved as a pilot unit for postgraduate training of master of education in 20 1 1 year, and was approved as a part-time postgraduate enrollment qualification in 20 15 year.
