In this semester's study, I read the first chapter of Confucius told us to be tolerant, edited by X power, Confucius's Way of Being a Man. It let me know that being a man is a university, and the book tells us how to be a man in simple words.
Confucius, the founder of Confucianism in China, taught him. Students should forgive others if they want to be human! Don't pass it on to others if you don't want it. "Forgiveness" means "putting yourself in others' shoes and being kind to others". When you encounter problems in getting along with others, you should put yourself in others' shoes. Is to push yourself and others and compare your heart; How do you want to live, you think others will want to live; If you don't want others to treat you like that, don't treat others like that; I hope I can stand up and understand in society, and I will also help others stand up and understand.
With this understanding, as teachers, should we also have this kind of thinking in our usual teaching? As a teacher, no matter with colleagues or students, we should also have the idea of "don't do to others what you don't want others to do to you".
We used to be students, and we know that when students worked hard, we also had headaches for teachers, when we shouted homework, when we were lazy, and of course, when we made mistakes ... Now our roles are different, and we are teachers, and these experiences are gradually forgotten. Standing on the podium, we may think more about how to educate children well and tell them that it is wrong to do so from our standpoint.
But students always like to escape from our sight and play hide-and-seek with us. Let's also bend down and think from the children's point of view, think more about the students and put ourselves in their shoes. At this time, we will find that some mistakes made by children are normal and understandable. For example, the design of classroom teaching should consider students' acceptance ability, the teaching progress should consider students' intellectual ability, and the homework should consider students' tolerance. In teaching, we should consider the problem from the perspective of students.
Communicate with students more at ordinary times to understand their needs and difficulties in learning. I think this should be the basis of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude. When we are more tolerant and patient with our children and create a harmonious learning atmosphere, teachers will not be so tired and will be much happier at work. Similarly, in daily life, if we all abide by this creed, we will live in peace and the world will be at peace. When we are upset, please remind ourselves "Don't do to others what you don't want us to do to you".
