Fujian Technician College is a public senior technical college directly under the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Fujian Province. It is the first batch of public national key technical schools, the second batch of national secondary vocational education reform and development demonstration schools, the national advanced vocational education unit and the first batch of national high-skilled personnel training bases.
Fujian technicians are colleges and universities that train high-quality and comprehensive vocational skills to meet the market requirements. The college provides secondary vocational schools and higher vocational schools. Secondary vocational schools recruit junior high school graduates and cultivate intermediate skilled personnel; Higher vocational colleges recruit graduates from high schools, secondary vocational schools and junior high schools, and train high-skilled talents such as senior engineers and technicians.
The College was developed from 1979 Fujian Building Materials Industry Technical School, which was established with the approval of the provincial party committee. 1993 was renamed Fujian Building Materials Technical School, and won the first batch of national key schools in Fujian Province in the same year. 1998 Fujian mechanical and electrical industry vocational secondary school was approved by the provincial education department, and Fujian Technician College was approved by the Fujian provincial government in 2007.

In 2002, it was identified by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security as the first batch of high-skilled talents (electromechanical engineering) training base in China. In 2003, college students won the first and third place in the web design project of Fujian Vocational Skills Competition and the first and second place in the locksmith project, and achieved the best results in participating in vocational schools (including general secondary schools, technical schools, vocational schools and vocational colleges) in Fujian Province.
In 2004, Fujian Provincial Government, German lafayette Government and Siemens Company decided to set up Fujian Sino-German Vocational Training and Consulting Development Center in our school, so that graduates can strive to study in Germany. In 2005, it was recognized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance as the first batch of national vocational education training base demonstration schools and the cooperative and friendly schools of Yokohama International Education College in Japan.
In 2006, it successfully passed the re-evaluation and quality management certification of the national battalion department. On June 18, 2020, Fujian Technician College-Electronic Information Industry College officially became a secondary college established by Fujian Technician College under the framework of the strategic cooperation agreement between the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Provincial Electronic Information Group.
