College of International Education of Henan Agricultural University and New England College of Henan Agricultural University are directly affiliated teaching units set up by the school to face the world, open to the outside world, strengthen foreign cooperation and exchanges, implement Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, and train foreign students in China and abroad. The college aims to make full use of international high-quality educational resources, introduce advanced foreign educational ideas, educational concepts, curriculum systems, teaching methods and teaching management experience, introduce foreign original textbooks and some foreign teachers, combine our teaching, scientific research and management experience, give full play to our school's advantages in educational and teaching resources, and adopt an educational model that combines Chinese and foreign countries, complements each other's advantages and integrates with international higher education to organize teaching, improve students' comprehensive quality and cultivate students' innovative ability. Its basic goal is to integrate with international education and cultivate international and compound talents who are proficient in foreign languages, majors and abilities, that is, to cultivate senior professionals who can skillfully use foreign languages, master professional skills and have strong practical ability, and can meet the needs of international social development and national construction. The Institute of International Education began enrolling students in 2004. At present, there are more than 300 domestic undergraduates/kloc-0 and more than 70 international students.
