What is EE's major?
A rough inventory of EE includes electronic information engineering, communication engineering, electrical engineering and its automation, control science and engineering (automation), microelectronics, photoelectric science and technology and other common majors. Specifically, electronic information engineering and communication engineering are more universal, involving more aspects related to information signals, and many research fields are very mainstream fields at present, which are most closely related to computer science. The research in many fields is consistent with computer science, such as image processing and computer vision, voice signal processing, communication network, computer architecture, circuit automation, etc., all of which intersect with EE and CS. Electrical engineering and automation is a traditional high-voltage field, mainly studying the fields of motors and power systems, involving few basic computer courses, even very different from the general courses in the weak current field, so it is difficult to easily transfer to other EE fields.
