The main research fields are educational basic theory, educational philosophy, educational folklore and so on. He is the leader of the basic theory direction of national key discipline pedagogy, and a part-time researcher in important research institutions such as "Value and Culture" and "Humanities and Science Research Center" of Beijing Normal University. He presided over the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Fund Project "Educational Reform from the Cultural Perspective", the Tenth Five-Year National Key Project of Educational Science "New Progress of Contemporary British and American Educational Philosophy" and the Tenth Five-Year Key Project of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education "Knowledge Transformation and Educational Reform".
