Studying the causes of left-behind children and implementing corresponding educational strategies are related to the happiness of millions of families and social harmony. Based on the investigation of 4 16 left-behind children in our school, the author analyzes the causes of the problems of left-behind children and implements the corresponding countermeasures. First, the problems of left-behind children and their causes

1. Poor family supervision has laid a hidden danger for children's personality development. Most parents of left-behind children put the heavy responsibility of educating their children on the shoulders of their ancestors. Ancestors' doting on children affects the formation of children's hard-working and other qualities, and the lack of scientific educational methods will not shape children's beautiful hearts. Moreover, grandparents have to undertake heavy housework and seldom go to school to understand the situation, which makes the cooperation between family education and school education "short-circuited", thus developing the bad behavior of children's personality development.

2. Lack of affection affects the mental health development of left-behind children. First of all, because the family members of left-behind children are relatively single, children lack communication objects, which is easy to produce psychological closure and is not conducive to children's ideological exchange. Secondly, most left-behind children have weak self-control ability and poor living habits. They don't listen to their guardians at home and don't obey the rules and regulations at school, which makes them "problem children". In addition, junior high school children are in a critical period of forming emotions, attitudes, morality, personality and values, and are in a rebellious period, and they have not been cared for by their parents for a long time. Lack of feelings will lead them in a bad direction.

3. Poor education affects the formation of good quality of left-behind children.

On the one hand, the family education of most left-behind children is almost blank, lacking timely and effective restraint and discipline. On the other hand, influenced by parents who go out to work, left-behind children are prone to the idea of "reading is useless"; Some parents think that money can make up for poor care, and it is easy for students to have the consciousness that money is everything, which is not conducive to the cultivation of excellent personality.

Second, the methods and strategies of education for left-behind children

1. Innovate the school education mechanism and build a good education platform.

(1) Schools should actively create a caring, warm and harmonious school education environment, so that left-behind children can establish a sound personality in the collective environment. (2) Do a good job in parent schools, timely carry out family education and training for left-behind children and guardians, provide scientific and reasonable guidance on family education, improve guardians' awareness and guardianship ability, and better perform their duties. (3) Carry out activities beneficial to the physical and mental health of left-behind students, cultivate team spirit and promote physical and mental development. (4) Strengthen the work of the class teacher. Follow-up training records of left-behind children in classes should be established, mental health education should be actively carried out, and efforts should be intensified to correct the behavior deviation and personality quality obstacles of left-behind students in time. (5) Class teachers and teachers should give special care to left-behind children, adhere to the principle of inspiration and guidance according to their different personality characteristics, and let students learn to manage themselves, protect themselves and live by themselves. (6) Pay attention to the bright spots of left-behind children, and don't label them with negative "labels", so that they can establish self-confidence and publicize their personality in recognition, praise and respect.

2. Innovate the way of family education and create a harmonious educational atmosphere.

(1) It is important for parents to change their mentality and pay more attention to emotional communication and psychological communication with their children, so that children can fully feel their parents' love, which is very important for cultivating their caring and peaceful personality. (2) Parents should insist on regular emotional communication and parent-child interaction with their children by telephone and video, and listen to their voices. (3) Talk to children more often at ordinary times and tell their own experiences and hardships, which can not only communicate the feelings between grandparents and children, but also promote the formation of their courtesy and unity.

In a word, the problem of left-behind children is a serious problem related to family happiness and harmonious social development. Creating a mechanism for educating people together by society, families and schools requires teachers' unremitting exploration and efforts.
