What do you mean by Band Four or Band Six?
CET-4 and CET-6 are national English tests administered by the Ministry of Education. Its purpose is to objectively and accurately measure the actual English ability of college students and provide evaluation services for college English teaching.

You don't need to take the exam in the order of grade one to grade four. Candidates can take CET-6 after taking and passing CET-4.

Difference:

First, the nature is different.

2. National English proficiency test: a foreign language proficiency test organized by the State Education Commission.

Second, the form is different.

CET-4 and CET-6 are divided into CET-4 and CET-6, which are held twice a year in the morning and afternoon on the same day. From June 5438+ 10, 2005, with a full mark of 7 10, the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) entrusted the National College English Testing Committee to issue transcripts to each candidate.

With the expansion of domestic communication, the languages of the examination have gradually increased to English, French, German, Japanese and Russian.
