What are the service forms and requirements of health education?
1. Provide health education materials.

(1) Distribution of printed materials

Printed materials include health education leaflets, health education prescriptions and health manuals. Placed in township hospitals, village clinics, community health service centers (stations) waiting areas, consulting rooms, information desks and other places. Each organization provides no less than 12 kinds of printed materials every year, and updates them in time to ensure their use.

(2) Play audio-visual materials

Audio-visual materials, including video tapes, VCDs, DVDs and other audio-visual communication materials, are broadcast at the township hospitals, community health service centers, observation rooms, health classrooms and other places or publicity activities during the normal consultation period. Each organization broadcasts no less than 6 kinds of audio-visual materials every year.

2. Establish a health education bulletin board

Township hospitals and community health service centers shall have no less than 2 publicity columns, village clinics and community health service stations shall be no less than 1, and the area of each publicity column shall be no less than 2 square meters. Publicity columns are generally set in obvious positions outside institutions, health education rooms, waiting rooms, infusion rooms or toll halls, and the center of the publicity columns is 1.5 ~ 1.6 meters away from the ground. Every institution should change the contents of the health education bulletin board at least once every two months.

3. Carry out public health consultation activities.

Use various health theme days or carry out health consultation activities around key health issues in the jurisdiction and distribute publicity materials. Every township hospital and community health service center carries out public health consultation activities at least 9 times a year.

4. Hold health knowledge lectures

Hold health knowledge lectures regularly, guide residents to learn and master health knowledge and necessary health skills, and promote the physical and mental health of residents in the area. Every township hospital and community health service center hold at least 1 lecture on health knowledge every month, and village clinics and community health service stations hold at least 1 lecture on health knowledge every two months.

5. Carry out personalized health education.

Medical staff in township hospitals, village clinics and community health service centers (stations) should carry out targeted and personalized health knowledge and skills education when providing medical and health services such as outpatient service and home visit.
