On-the-job postgraduate is a type of postgraduate education. In the national plan, as on-the-job personnel, they work part-time, study, and obtain degrees through examination. Common are on-the-job masters and on-the-job doctors. On-the-job postgraduate training includes course study, course examination, degree application, national unified level examination, thesis writing, thesis evaluation and thesis defense.

The degree application method is as follows:

1. Enroll in Shen Shuo's on-the-job seminar with equivalent academic qualifications;

2. Check the ID card, diploma and degree certificate, and pass the examination qualification certificate;

3. Pass the on-campus examination of the reported school and the national comprehensive level examination of foreign languages and disciplines;

4. Submit a master's degree thesis and apply for defense within one year after passing the exam;

5. reply to the paper within six months after submitting the paper;

6. After the defense is approved by the Academic Degrees Committee, the master's degree certificate issued by the National Academic Degrees Committee and stamped by the degree-granting unit can be obtained after the master's degree is awarded. The professional name and master's degree of in-service graduate students are reflected in the certificate, and the certificate number can be found on the national degree website.
