What is a community college?
Community college is an ordinary higher education institution which mainly implements higher vocational education. Its fundamental purpose is to establish a new model of higher education that mainly faces and serves the region, meet the demand of regional economic and social development for higher education, especially higher vocational and technical education, and promote the deepening reform of higher education. Community colleges carry out personnel training with equal emphasis on general vocational education, pre-service and post-service communication, academic education and non-academic education.
