According to official website's inquiry, Hangzhou Ring Expressway is divided into five sections: West Line, North Line, East Line, South Line and Hangjinqu. It is an important part of the main skeleton of the national highway network from Shanghai to Ruili, Yunnan and Zhejiang Province. This highway around the city is the "one ring" of the "two vertical lines, two horizontal lines, three rings and three channels" highway in the province, and it is the main highway hub connecting Hangzhou with the whole province and the whole country. There are 17 entrances and exits and two large-scale public service areas, including the Fifth Qianjiang Bridge (Pu Yuan Bridge), the Sixth Qianjiang Bridge (Xiasha Bridge), the Canal Bridge, and the first two-way six-lane Yellow River mountain tunnel in the province.
