What does pedagogy mean?
This is a normal course. Teachers' class refers to a kind of colleges and universities in general, not to some majors in particular. Specifically, all majors in normal universities in the past can be regarded as normal majors, including psychology, pedagogy and other majors that are not engaged in teacher work.

Normal majors include: education, Chinese education, ideological and political education, mathematics education, biology education, humanities education, science education, secretarial education, physics education, chemistry education, English education, primary education, preschool education, special education, educational technology, art education, speech and audiology, Chinese language and literature education, modern information technology education and modern educational technology.

Applied electronic technology education, geography education, political and legal education, fine arts education, political and legal education, science education, physics and educational technology, primary school teacher education, history education, biology education, history education, primary education, comprehensive liberal arts education, comprehensive science education, marketing education, educational English and other majors.

Not all majors in normal universities are normal majors. Almost all normal universities offer non-normal majors, some of which are quite large. Some normal universities, especially some key normal universities above the provincial level, have even transformed into comprehensive teaching and research universities, and non-normal majors are more and more powerful than normal majors.

Generally speaking, the employment of non-normal majors in normal universities is still not ideal. This is just the opposite of the situation in previous years. The reasons are as follows: First, the professional setting is unreasonable. When we first decided to set up majors, all normal universities were keen on some "hot majors" to attract students. This kind of non-normal major based on quick success and instant benefit can no longer adapt to the changes of social needs.

At the same time, these majors are difficult to arrange in the education system and cannot compete with graduates trained by counterpart colleges outside the system; Secondly, normal colleges offer non-normal majors, and the teaching quality is not high. Many teachers are "changing careers" or "leading the way" from normal colleges, and their teaching conditions and experience in running schools are also insufficient; Third, it is difficult for non-normal graduates to get social recognition.
