How to do better in what you value (TED)
How to do better in what you value, the word value just shows the importance of this matter to you, but sometimes it is because of importance that we are too timid, afraid of making mistakes, and afraid of negative comments and feedback from others, which leads us to stick to our original limits and make no progress.

In this TED talk, the speaker put forward explanations and practices to counter this solidification.

The difference between study area and exhibition area.

Learning field refers to the behavior of exploring, exploring, practicing and thinking about problems and knowledge, so as to have the process of observation, mapping, adjustment and feedback, so as to obtain their own learning ability and skill progress.

Exhibition area refers to a kind of presentation work, such as doing things, showing and outputting.

A typical example is that traditional education makes children mistakenly think that the school is a display area, so they skip the process of practice, trial and error, feedback and correction and only pursue standardized correct answers. The reason why we didn't make progress is because we pursued the correctness of the result and ignored the progress of the process. The result of the process is stable, while the direct result is accidental and uncertain.

Countermeasures:

1. Practice intentionally. Accumulate experience purposefully in the study area and then act on the exhibition area, that is, study and practice.

2. Have growth thinking. I have a preliminary plan and a clear understanding of my growth goals. I believe my thinking can be improved and I have the potential to become better.

3. Ensure low risk. We usually unnecessarily put the environment in a high-risk state, and the high-risk environment makes us fear the unknown and stop.

First, we can build a low-risk island in high-risk Wang Yang, that is, through the friendly guidance of teachers, family members and friends, we can reduce fear and rebound.

Second, we can achieve it as expected, but when we focus on how to do it better next time, we will not be trapped in this result.
