Xi Jiaotong University, located in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is a Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run university with independent legal personality, which was jointly founded by Xi Jiaotong University in China and University of Liverpool in England with the approval of the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC).
