In order to further strengthen the funding for the children of poor households in rural areas and promote accurate poverty alleviation through education, the Provincial Department of Education recently issued the "Implementation Plan on Further Strengthening the Funding for Poor Students in Rural Areas and Promoting Accurate Poverty Alleviation through Education". Starting from the fall semester of 20 15, poor rural students with household registration in our province and studying in schools above the senior high school stage (excluding the postgraduate stage) will be given "precise poverty alleviation", new special subsidies for poverty alleviation and tuition reduction.

Subsidy policy: (1) "two aids and three exemptions (supplements)" for ordinary senior high schools. On the basis of the implementation of the national grant (2000 yuan/year), a special poverty alleviation grant (1000 yuan/year), tuition fee (subsidy) and textbook fee (subsidy) will be added to the poor rural students in our province who attend ordinary high schools (a project funded by 400 yuan).

(B) Secondary vocational schools "two assistance and three exemptions (supplements)". Poor rural students with household registration in our province who attend secondary vocational schools are exempted from three-year tuition (2000 yuan/year) and state grants for grades one and two (2000 yuan/year). On the basis of "Year", students in Grade One and Grade Two will receive special aid for poverty alleviation (1 1,000 yuan/year of birth), book fee exemption (supplement) (400 yuan/year of birth) and accommodation fee exemption (supplement) (500 yuan/year of birth).

(3) "two assistance and one exemption (supplement)" in ordinary colleges and universities. On the basis of the original state grant (average 3,000 yuan/student-year), the poverty-stricken rural students with household registration in our province are provided with special grants for poverty alleviation (65,438 yuan +0.000 yuan/student-year) and tuition-free (subsidy) (undergraduate standard is 3,830 yuan/student-year)
