National Security Education Day (English) is a festival to enhance national security awareness and safeguard national security.
Faced with the dual pressures of safeguarding national sovereignty, security and development interests, and maintaining political security and social stability at home, various foreseeable and unpredictable risk factors have increased significantly, and security issues in non-traditional fields have become increasingly prominent. Therefore, it is necessary to formulate a comprehensive, overall and basic national security law to cope with the new situation of national security.
On July 1 2065438, the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) passed Article 14 of the National Security Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), which stipulated that April 15 every year was the National Security Education Day for all.
April 15, 2023 is the eighth National Safety Education Day. The theme is "implementing the overall national security concept, enhancing the national security awareness and literacy of the whole people, and consolidating the social foundation for ensuring the new development pattern with the new security pattern".
