Moral education and intellectual education are unified and not contradictory in essence. That is, the learning of knowledge and the cultivation of character are unified and subject to the same law of learning psychology. In other words, all education is moral education and should have the function of moral education. And China has a famous saying that "three years old is old, and seven years old is old".
The origin of "contradiction" between moral education and intellectual education;
Objectively speaking, the importance of moral education and its position in education are well known. The problem is that when moral education and students' character development lack more scientific and effective evaluation methods, and the relationship between moral education and intellectual education is unclear, their realistic status often has to give way to those academic achievements that can be accurately measured, so that it has evolved into a separation between them.
Treat moral education as a normal life process like eating and sleeping. We can start from the following three points:
1, the teaching of moral knowledge is life-oriented, active, situational and problematic. Don't just emphasize the indoctrination and memory of moral knowledge and norms.
2. Pay attention to students' participation in moral practice activities and experience them in the activities.
3. All the teaching and activities of the school contain the charm of moral education as directly or indirectly as possible, and the direct moral education is combined with the indirect moral education.
