Taiyuan Culture and Art School cooperated with Jincheng Song and Dance Troupe in 2007 and Taiyuan Acrobatic Troupe in 2009, respectively, and started the students' class of Jincheng Song and Dance Troupe and the acrobatic class of Taiyuan Acrobatic Troupe, and trained outstanding reserve talents for Jincheng Song and Dance Troupe and Taiyuan Acrobatic Troupe by order training. At the same time, Taiyuan Culture and Art School also cooperated with Lvliang, Changzhi, Yangquan and Qingxu to run schools, and set up Lvliang classes, Changzhi classes, Yangquan classes and Qingxu classes to train students.

In September, 2008, it coincided with the 50th anniversary of the founding of Taiyuan Culture and Art School. Both Taiyuan Wenguang Art High School and Children's Experimental Art Theatre were unveiled.

As the only art high school in Taiyuan City and even Shanxi Province, Wenguang Art High School, as a new thing, takes Taiyuan Culture and Art School as an innovative attempt to expand school-running channels, realize multi-department cooperation and create a variety of school-running modes, and has embarked on a road of art education combining classroom teaching with extracurricular practice, and combining student art groups with campus culture, which has gradually been affirmed and recognized by parents and society. The number of students in art high schools is increasing year by year, with 36 students enrolled in 1 year, 46 students in the second year, 57 students in the third year and 98 students in the fourth year. The first batch of 36 students graduated from 20 1 1, all of them got professional certificates, and 20 of them were admitted to Sichuan Conservatory of Music, Beijing Dance Academy, Yunnan Art College and other art colleges for further study.

In view of the weak situation of children's drama creation in China, Taiyuan Culture and Art School focuses on launching rehearsal cards for children's drama creation. Meng Gongcai, deputy director of Taiyuan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Broadcasting, and Wang Xiaodong, then deputy director, Yao Wenzhong, a large-scale children's drama "Brown Horse Chicken and Teenager" independently completed by our students, was selected as the national outstanding children's drama of the Ministry of Culture and went to Suzhou to participate in the competition, winning the third prize of outstanding drama. The play also won the Excellent Works Award of the Seventh "Five One Projects" of Spiritual Civilization Construction in Shanxi Province.

Based on the successful creation and rehearsal of the children's drama Brown Chickens and Teenagers, the large-scale modern drama "Flowers Falling and Flowers Blooming" of Shanxi Opera performed by the Children's Experimental Art Theatre founded by Taiyuan Culture and Art School caused a sensation in the outstanding modern drama exhibition commemorating the 30th anniversary of reform and opening up in the province and won the "Special Contribution Award". The success of Brown Chickens and Teenagers and Falling Flowers and Blooming Flowers not only realized the modern teaching concept of combining teaching with practice, ideological and moral education with stage practice, but also proved that Taiyuan Culture and Art School adhered to the forward-looking and practical principle of combining Industry-University-Research and embarked on a successful road of cross-industry and inter-departmental cooperation in running schools.
