Cixi Education Bureau publicly solicited opinions on after-school services and kindergarten care services in compulsory education.

In order to thoroughly implement the Opinions of General Offices of the General Office of the Central Committee of the CPC and the State Council on Further Reducing Students' Homework Burden and Off-campus Training Burden and the relevant requirements of Zhejiang Province on further improving after-school service in compulsory education, and effectively solve the problems of "leaving school early, difficult to pick up and drop off, unattended" in schools and kindergartens in compulsory education stage, on the basis of summarizing the experience of after-school custody service in primary schools, our city plans to carry out after-school service and kindergarten care in compulsory education stage from September 20021year.

First, the service target.

On the voluntary basis of parents and students, schools and kindergartens in compulsory education in this city provide after-school services for all students.

Second, the service time

Provide after-school service after school every working day afternoon, and the end time shall not be earlier than the normal off-duty time of local units in principle. Conditional junior high schools can offer self-study classes on weekdays. In principle, the end time of non-boarding junior high school students' evening self-study in school is not later than 20:30 in summer time and 20:00 in winter time.

Third, the service content.

Kindergarten care service is mainly to provide care or play activities in line with children's physical and mental development. After-school services in compulsory education schools mainly include guiding students to complete their homework, counseling and answering questions for students with learning difficulties, expanding learning space for students with spare capacity, and carrying out interest groups and community activities.

Fourth, service charges.

Adhere to the principle of non-profit, and the charging standard shall be based on the spirit of relevant documents and announced to the public.

Five, the service principle

On the basis of parents' and students' voluntary participation, adhere to the principles of combining school leaders with social participation, students' voluntary participation with meeting needs, public welfare with cost sharing, and teachers' guidance with students' self-study.
