The major of primary education focuses on training teachers of mental health education and psychological counseling urgently needed in primary and secondary schools, supplemented by training preschool teachers, women's federations, public security, armed police, hospital psychological counselors and therapists, and social psychological counselors.

Science education is a major of natural science curriculum in junior high school. To put it simply, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, astronomy and other disciplines have been merged into one discipline called natural science in junior high school. But in the past, normal schools only had physics, chemistry, biology and geography majors, and there were no teachers to teach with. Therefore, some normal universities have specially set up this major for junior high school science.
