Around the theme of "law and literature", Tang Chenxi expounded from two aspects: literary means of law and jurisprudence in literature. He pointed out that law and literature are inextricably linked, and both involve interpretation, narration, reading, writing and expression. They are the intersection of language, stories and human experience. At the same time, law and literature are different. Law depends on reason, while literature appeals to emotion. Then, Tang Chenxi showed the narrative process of court trial and the establishment of legal order with video materials. He emphasized that literature can not only cultivate people's sentiments, but also make boring laws more rigorous, more accurate, more personalized, more colorful, more profound historical and social significance, more in line with the requirements of national rule of law, and create literature under the constraints of law.
On-the-spot students asked Professor Tang questions one by one about their thoughts during the class, and Professor Tang patiently answered them. Finally, Vice President Zhu Fengxiang made a summary, encouraging the students here to learn more about humanities and dare to think and do.
