1938, when Wuhan was about to fall, the Rotary Primary School in Mizoguchi was relocated and three private primary schools were established in Xuanbitang.

1942 (Guangdong-Chinese? ) The Railway Bureau established a school with six classrooms in Fuxiaoli (the present site), named "Hengyang Rotary Sixth Primary School", which is the predecessor of Hengtie No.1 Primary School.

1944 Hengyang fell and the school was in ruins.

The number of students in 1946 reached 1500. 300 prisoners of war began to build houses while repairing the damaged six classrooms, with more than 30 classrooms. The school was renamed "Hengyang Rotary No.1 Primary School established by the Ministry of Communications".

After liberation, the school was renamed "Hengyang Railway Workers' Children No.1 Primary School". There are more than 40 classes, including adult classes and youth classes, and there is a branch school in Mao Ping where more than 2,000 students study day and night. It is the largest primary school in the south-central region. 1960 was changed to 10 school with two junior high schools. Dismounted a year later, it was still a five-year primary school.

During the Cultural Revolution, educational institutions were paralyzed. 1968 Primary and secondary schools were taken over by the Political Working Group of the Revolutionary Committee of Hengyang Railway Branch, and the Mao Zedong Thought Workers' Propaganda Team was stationed in the school. The school was renamed "Hengyang Railway Operation Depot May 7th School".

At the end of 1986, Hengyang Railway Branch was abolished, and the school was affiliated to the General Education Department of Changsha Railway Branch and renamed as "Hengyang No.1 Primary School of Changsha Railway Branch".

65438-0993 Changsha Railway Branch was renamed Changsha Railway Corporation, and the school was renamed "Hengyang No.1 Primary School of Changsha Railway Corporation".

In July 2004, the enterprise school returned to the government, and the school was renamed as "Zhu Hui Experimental Primary School".
